Filing a takedown notice
If you believe content on TunedRides infringes your copyright, email [email protected] (subject: DMCA Notice) with all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorised agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (URL to the original work, or a clear description).
- The URL of the allegedly infringing content on TunedRides (e.g.
https://tunedrides.com/...). - Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on its behalf.
Knowingly false statements may result in liability under 17 U.S.C. §512(f). We recommend you consult a lawyer before filing.
Response time
We acknowledge complete takedown notices within 5 business days and remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content within 10 business days where the notice is valid on its face. The user who posted the content will be notified.
Counter-notification
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice to [email protected] (subject: DMCA Notice) with:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the content removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your full name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your judicial district (or, if outside the US, any judicial district where TunedRides may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.
Once we receive a valid counter-notice we forward it to the original complainant. If they do not file a lawsuit within 10 business days, we may restore the content.
Repeat infringer policy
We will terminate accounts that we determine, in our sole discretion, are repeat infringers under appropriate circumstances per 17 U.S.C. §512(i).
