What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser by the websites you visit. Some are essential for the site to work (signing you in, remembering your cookie choice). Others measure how the site is used so we can improve it. TunedRides uses both categories — but never any third-party advertising cookies.
Our default stance
Only strictly necessarycookies fire on first visit. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are blocked until you explicitly accept them via the cookie banner. No pre-ticked boxes, no "implied consent". You can change your choice any time by clearing your browser storage for tunedrides.com — the banner will reappear.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, Facebook Pixel, TikTok pixel, or affiliate tracking cookies.
Analytics — what we do and don't collect
When you accept analytics, Google Analytics records: which page you viewed, where you arrived from (referrer or search query), your approximate city-level location, device type, and a randomized client ID. We do not collect your name, email, or any account-identifying information through Analytics. IP addresses are anonymized at collection time.
We use this data only in aggregate to understand which content is helpful and which tools get used. Google's own data handling is described in their privacy policy.
How to control cookies
- Reset our cookie banner: clear cookies for tunedrides.com in your browser. The banner will reappear and you can re-decide.
- Block all cookies:use your browser's cookie settings. Note: blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in.
- Opt out of Google Analytics globally: install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- EU / UK users: declining analytics in the banner is sufficient — no Analytics cookie is set, no data is collected.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when we add or remove a tracking technology. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent material change. For substantial changes (a new analytics provider, an advertising cookie, etc.) we will re-prompt you with the cookie banner.
