The second-generation R8 is Audi's V10 supercar — Lamborghini Huracán mechanicals wrapped in a more understated, everyday-usable body. It is the supercar people actually daily, so personalisation leans toward finish rather than function.

Builds lead with wraps and paint: colour-change in satins, chrome and shifting finishes is the most popular mod, alongside forged wheels and a mild drop on coilovers or air. A widebody scene exists — Liberty Walk and a handful of European houses make over-fender kits — and aftermarket aero and quad-exhaust setups appear, but most R8s stay tasteful: wheels, wrap and stance over a full transformation.

The aluminium spaceframe keeps it usable-light, the V10's soundtrack needs no aftermarket help, and the finish-first personalisation culture favours PPF, satin wraps and wheels over anything that touches the drivetrain.

R8 builds run 20in forged wheels in a multi-spoke or split-spoke design, often dark, to sharpen the supercar stance.
